Femi Hollinger-Janzen was born in West Africa. As a kid Hollinger-Janzen wanted to be a professional soccer player his dream came true. Hollinger-Janzen left West Africa and came to Goshen. He starred on the Bethany High Schools soccer team and he went to Indiana University and played soccer there. Hollinger-Janzen was selected by New England with the 51st pick overall in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft.
Hollinger-Janzen joined Minnesota United FC as his final selection. He was re-acquired back to the big city again. “There is a lot of challenges in professional soccer”, said Hollinger-Janzen.
“I wake up at about 8:00 AM, soccer practice is at 11:00 AM”, said Hollinger-Janzen. Yesterday they did team lift where they had to do push ups, pull ups and others. They stretch before and after their games so they don’t get injuries. “I’m doing the sport that I love”, said Hollinger-Janzen.
“After I’m done with soccer I will have to get another job, I can’t play soccer forever.” Hollinger-Janzen explained in a statement “I want to be Director of Operations for a soccer club.”
