Femi Hollinger-Janzen is a forward for New England Revolution in Major League Soccer. When Hollinger-Janzen was on Minnesota “I was thrilled to go to Minnesota because I knew a couple of guys on the team” said Hollinger-Janzen. When Minnesota traded Hollinger-Janzen back to New England Revolution he was very excited to move back to New England. ” Before my rookie season I was working very hard. They expect you to be in shape when you get there.”
One of Hollinger-Janzen biggest achievements was “becoming a professional soccer player.” In soccer, “there are so many ups and downs” and “My dream came true.” During Hollinger-Janzen first goal he said “I got so excited because all the space in front of me.” Hollinger-Janzen explained “I didn’t know how to celebrate really, so I just started jumping up and down with the team.”
Hollinger-Janzen favorite player is Didier Drogba. Drogba is the reason why Hollinger-Janzen has dreds. “I always looked up to Drogba.” When Hollinger-Janzen got to play against Drogba he made sure that he bump into him so could just touch him. Hollinger-Janzen wanted to be like Drogba and play like him. Soccer helps Hollinger-Janzen connect with others.
