July 16th, 2018 Write on Sports had an interview with Trevor Robinson. We interviewed him in the Newcomer building at Goshen College. Trevor Robinson is 28 years old, and played in the NFL for 5 seasons. The 28-year-old is 6’5 and used to be 300 pounds, now he is 249 pounds.
The football player grew up in Nebraska and he always thought he would go to Nebraska for college, but instead he went to Notre Dame. Trevor Robinson has a Bachelor degree in Business at Notre Dame. Robinson narrowed down his options to three different colleges: Nebraska, Notre Dame, and Michigan. He choose to go to Notre Dame because his dad worked at different universities, and it was academics first and then football. His dad thought Notre Dame was the best choice for him; it had the best academics out of the three colleges.
Trevor Robinson graduated in 2012, and then he went undrafted, but was signed to a professional contract. Trevor Robinson played in the NFL for 5 seasons, but he ended his football career when he was 27 years old. Trevor is now 28 and is married with 2 twin boys. He ended his football career to be with his pregnant wife at the time. Trevor was not used to the schedule when he retired from the NFL but he said, “mentally it’s nice to make a decision for yourself rather than someone else.”
