Write on Sports interviewed Anthony Anderson about his writing career. Anderson is a writer for the Elkhart Truth newspaper. Anderson had other jobs, but he liked writing the most. “I started writing in high school. I enjoyed it, and I have ever since.My other jobs that I had throughout high school were: a waiter, a bartender, a baker, and a pizza boy, but I thought my calling was a writer. I always have had liked writing, so I did writing things in high school and enjoyed it,” stated Anderson.
Sometimes it is hectic to write and think. Sometimes he thinks about quitting when things get tough. “Sometimes people don’t want to be interviewed, so after a few days I have to try to go back and interview them again,” said Anderson. He is 52 and he is not planning on quitting for a another 15-20 years. “I enjoy writing about sports, but mostly basketball. But I like the chance to express myself in sport writing,” said Anderson.
