Most people think that Angelo DiCarlo from the WNDU news station is serious when working. But, did you know about his great sense of humor?
Angelo DiCarlo is always joking around. From off the air to on set, he always tries to make people smile. “Hold on Seth, I’m tweeting,” DiCarlo said. And, if you noticed, DiCarlo sometimes has to finish a story quickly. He sometimes gets a warning from his earphone that something was about to happen. He tries to speak a little bit faster in order to finish his story.
Sometimes people compete against each other on TV, but not DiCarlo. He tries to make people on the set laugh, and tries to have fun. He said to reporters that if he had another choice, he would have been a lawyer instead of a anchor. Personally, I can’t see that happening, since he always tries to make people laugh. He wouldn’t be able to do that if he is prosecuting a witness.
Even when he is making a joke, people consider him a hard working man. “The hardest working, and best sports caster I ever worked with,” Mike Haughman said. But, even when he is off set, Haughman and DiCarlo himself would both describe himself as, “energetic.” The funniest thing that the news crew thinks about him, is that he wears shorts under his desk during the summer, and pants during the winter.
