Angelo DiCarlo has been working with sports statistics since he was four years old. He would memorize the sports scores and recite them to his older brother.
DiCarlo was interviewed by Write on Sports yesterday.
“You get to do a lot of cool things.” DiCarlo said when asked about sportscasting.
When asked if he ever has contests with his brothers, DiCarlo said, “We work together a lot.” They worked as a team to broadcast football games.
DiCarlo got a job with TV2 when he was only sixteen. He also worked with the first cable station Service Electric Cable TV in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
He now works with WNDU and has been since 2007.
“He is the hardest working and best sportscaster I have ever met,” said Mike Hoffman lead weatherman of WNDU.
