Joe Hart, President of the Silver Hawks (Indiana’s famous minor league baseball team), is living his dream. Every day, he goes to work at the Four Winds Stadium, home of the Silver Hawks. Hart is very dedicated to his job.
His work hours are from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day, so, Hart comes to work for about 10 hours, which leaves him around 9 hours at home. It must take a lot of dedication to be there every single day.
“This is such a passion of mine,” Hart said.
The best part of his job? “Creating memories,” Hart said. His job centers around the fan’s experience at the game. He’s in charge of the fireworks, the bouncy houses, and the splash pad. Hart loves mixing sports with fun for the fans.
Hart is so dedicated to his job that he moved all the way from Florida to South Bend, just to be the president of the Silver Hawks in 2011. That was about three years ago; now Hart is the long term president of the Silver Hawks.
When asked when he planned on leaving his job, Hart instantly talked about how much he loved South Bend, and how he wouldn’t leave his job and his family, both of which he loves very much. Hart obviously enjoys his job, and he is very dedicated to making the fan experience the best it can possibly be.
With an amazing job, a loving family, and a great team, Joe Hart is definitely living his dream!
