Tony Janzen was born on November 14,1985. He got married to Denise Reesor on New Years Eve, at midnight in 2011. On July 12, 2016, Janzen came and was interviewed by Anthony Anderson and Write On Sports about his life at Goshen College and Cambodia. They were at the Newcomer Center at Goshen College.
Janzen wanted to go to Goshen College because his dad worked there. “The easy answer is my dad worked at Goshen College.” That was nice. Also, Janzen knew the soccer coach and wanted to play for him.
Janzen started playing on a travel team at the early age of 8. He played other sports like football and baseball but decided to focus on soccer.
When he got to college, he was an all-American star honorable mention for two years, and went to the National Championship with his soccer team. “We had 55 wins – my class had 55 wins! [We] got the record for the most wins at Goshen.”
Goshen College helped Janzen achieve his goals.
