Yesterday we attended Notre Dame and we interviewed Rex Pflueger. He is a shooting guard for Notre Dame and he grew up in Southern California. Pflueger started playing basketball at the age of four. Pflueger looks up to Kobe Bryant and he doesn’t mirror his game after Kobe, he said “Kobe is cocky.” Pflueger choose Notre Dame because it was the best of both and the people.
Two hours before every game Pflueger listens to Michael Jackson. Pflueger is working on his aggressiveness on offense. Pflueger told us “don’t give up on your dreams and don’t stop dreaming.” Pflueger picks up skills from everybody, not just Kobe.
Pflueger loves to go to the dock behind campus to just relax and read. One of the things that he said was that “time management was a big thing at Notre Dame.” Pflueger has 8:00 a.m. lifts Monday, Wednesday, and Friday so he has to be up by 7:00 a.m. to eat breakfast and do all the things he needs to do in the morning. On Tuesday, and Thursday’s he has to be up 5:30 for yoga. “Notre Dame is just an amazing university.”
