Bob Toews, age 54, is the assistant director of institutional research and academic database manager for Goshen College. He is a stair racer, ranked #47 in the country. Stair racing, also known as stairclimbing, isn’t a very well-known sport. Stair racing is where you climb the stairs of a tall building, one person at a time, and try to get the shortest time. Toews’ highest climb was the Willis Tower, at 1,030 feet, or 103 stories, and 2,115 steps.
