Bob Toews was 9th in his age group and Toews is 47th overall in the country. Toews first race was in 2006. The Willis Tower Toews climbed was the tallest building Toews has ever climbed. There are usually 10,000 people there. Toews is from Kansas. Toews said there is passing in this sport. There is a such thing as stair master. September 22nd Toews goes to Los angeles. Toews’ record is 20 minutes and 5 seconds. What motivates him is climbing with friends.
He has not had a competition in up the Eiffel Tower. He sets the bar pretty high. They climb together sometimes. Toews just does it for fun. He goes as fast as he can go. 4 walls around him. He open the door to the stairs and the alarm went off. No one inspires him. In races he is much more focused and confident than normal. He has won a lot of stair races.
