On July 16, 2018 Write On Sports interviewed former Notre Dame Football star Braxston Cave. Cave played on Notre Dame’s BCS Championship team. Cave was also a finalist for the best lineman in the country, and he was a finalist for the best center in the country too. Those are some big achievements. Cave was someone who never gave up.
Ever since the 3rd grade Cave wanted to be a football player. He said “I was a kid that thought, if you had a dream you had to get it.” Cave went to Penn High School in Granger Indiana. Cave played many sports he played Basketball, Football, Baseball, Track, Golf, and wrestling. But he knew that Football was the right sport for him.
Cave got 42 scholarships to college, but he ended up going to Notre Dame. On Cave’s Freshman year in 2008 He tore the main ligament in the foot. The ligament helps the movement of his foot. That didn’t stop Cave from pursuing his dream he kept playing football after six months. After Braxston’s senior year he headed off to the NFL. He played with the Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, and the Detroit Lions. He only played in the NFL for three years, then he retired from the NFL to take care of is daughter that was coming to the world.
Cave is a great guy and he was a great football player he is now working at Lippert Components. He is a very successful guy. This all proves that he chased his dream no matter what the outcome is. He is Braxston Cave. This Jeremiah Henderson from Write On Sports.
