On Nov. 22, the renovated full first floor of Westlawn Hall was opened to campus to enjoy and celebrate. President Rebecca Stoltzfus offered opening words in the Gunden Commons before cutting the ribbon and celebrating the official opening. Faculty, staff, retirees and students explored the space and enjoyed cookies in the new Mark Community Room.
Every year, the Good Library hosts Cake Day, where anyone on the Goshen College campus can bake a cake and bring it in to compete. Cakes are judged based on taste and presentation, with a public tasting following the judges' decision.
As the trees change, Goshen College's campus is a beautiful place to be.
The Goshen College theater department performed "She Kills Monsters" by Qui Nguyen as its fall mainstage over the weekends of November 8 and 16. A heart-pounding, high-octane fantasy, "She Kills Monsters" was a hit with the audience.
After being closed for more than a year, Westlawn Dining Hall reopened at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 20. These are photos from the first meal back in Westlawn.
The 2024 alumni awards were presented to: Charles Hostetter ’63 – Culture for Service Awardee; Adam Tice ’02 – Culture for Service Awardee; Samita Thapa ’12 – Young Alumni Servant Leader Awardee; Carl J. Yoder ’57 – Dr. Roman Gingerich Champion of Character Awardee; and Sophia Sears ’17 – Dr. Ruth Gunden Champion of Character Awardee.
One of the main activities of Homecoming is reconnecting with classmates. This year we celebrated classes: 2014, 2009, 2004, 1999, 1994, 1989, 1984, 1979, 1974, 1969, 1964.
