The Women's World Music Choir wrapped up their spring break tour with a home concert at Goshen College Music Center's Sauder Concert Hall on Sunday, March 5, 2017.
On Friday, Feb. 10, Goshen College officially dedicated the newly-named Juanita Lark Welcome Center in honor of Juanita Jewell Lark '43, the college’s first African-American graduate. Special guests included members of Lark’s family.

The Goshen College community honored the life and work of Martin Luther King, Jr. by holding an all-school study day, emphasizing the values and ideals that characterized King’s work. This year’s theme reminds the Goshen community that #ItIsTime: time to tell your truth, time to speak, time to tend to trauma, time for restoration, and time for compassion.
In our effort to create spaces for relationship building at Goshen College, the CIIE sponsored a "pozolada" on Dec. 1 at Java Junction for all the GC community, with "pozole," a traditional Mexican soup or stew made with hominy and pork meat.

On Nov. 17, 2015, Goshen College held its first Latino Scholarship Dinner, a celebration of the leadership and accomplishments of GC’s Latino students.
A reception and dinner was held for Consul Jorge Sanchez of the Mexican Consulate in Indianapolis, as well other leaders in the Goshen and Latino community, on Thursday, May 7, 2015.
Goshen College students, faculty and community members focused on the life of Martin Luther King Jr. and explored the theme “Be Brave, Show Grace: Advancing Intercultural Action” during the MLK Day celebration events on Jan. 18 and 19. The day included a community breakfast with Ewauare Osayande, anti-oppression coordinator with Mennonite Central Committee U.S., performances by the college's gospel choir Voices-N-Harmony, a convocation with Kanyere Eaton, the pastor of Fellowship Covenant Church, a Bronx-based congregation of the Evangelical Covenant Church, and various workshops.
